Product Manager, EP&I; (MENA)
Job Description
At Visa, the Emerging Products & Innovation (EP&I;) team holds primary ownership and management of new Visa digital technology and capabilities (including Visa Token Service, Visa Checkout, and Visa Direct). They lead digital product commercialization programs in local markets by leading cross-functional working groups, while ensuring client implementation projects progress in a structured and efficient manner through good coordination, planning and execution with Visa CEMEA Hub and Global teams, cross-functional teams, technology developers, local partners, merchants, and local regulators. The EP&I; team also work with partners and clients on the development of human-centrically designed concepts emerging from the Visa Innovation Centers that use APIs from the Visa Developer Platform.
This experienced Product Manager will be accountable for the delivery and success of digital program initiatives such as Visa Token Service and Visa Direct. You will work closely with a portfolio of enterprise level, SME, and start-up partners and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive the innovation required to meet the evolving business goals of these clients. You will help present Visa’s digital product vision to key customers and drive enthusiasm for early adoption of new products and feature sets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and develop business opportunities for Visa EP&I; solutions to defend Visa’s market leadership and grow volume / activity on digital channels
Provide consulting and training to support client strategy and technical implementation of Visa digital solutions
Work with clients, service providers, and regulators to ensure solutions to be interoperable with local industry practices
Develop customized and innovative solutions targeting local market needs and conditions in coordination with Visa CEMEA Hub & Global Teams
Lead technical product discussions including requirements, customer experience, security with a high level of independence
Partner with clients to gather requirements, define solutions, and scope projects
Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with business and technical staff to develop and track milestones and critical timelines
Support in business development conversations, help with product demos, discuss proposition and benefits to client
Manage communication of program status across teams and external partners; raise issues as necessary. Remove roadblocks and keep processes progressing and running smoothly
Set and manage customer expectations with regard to feature and solution availability
Represent the voice of the customer to internal partners; Strong client-facing communication skills and technical aptitude
Thrives in a dynamic and changing environment and effectively adapts to change Qualifications

mCommerce systems
Enterprise project management methodology
Alternate payment systems a plus
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in digital product management and bringing new products to market
Experience in a structured project management environment
Strong analytical skills and documentation skills
Knowledge of bank card systems a strong plus
A problem solver with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to evangelize a vision
High familiarity for user experience across digital channels
Demonstrated experience in senior level client engagement
