Product Manager

Aspen Healthcare in Dubai is looking for two Product Managers. One will be responsible for Thrombosis & General Medicine and the second is responsible for Anaesthesia. He/she understands the global and local strategies and collaborates with key support functions to create a tailored marketing strategy approach that reflects the dynamics of the region, while maintaining budgetary stewardship and a close eye on profitability. The role is part of Regional Marketing team and would require the person to work closely with both regional peers and the respective country sales and marketing teams. The position reports directly to Marketing Manager – MENA.
SPECIFIC OUTCOMES/ACCOUNTABILITY:
  • Developing & driving marketing strategies and brand plans across the MENA region and continuous follow -up to ensure their implementation.
  • Analysing competitor activity, Market Share, Sales & develop counteractive strategies.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities by understanding customer’s requirements.
  • Ability to show examples of how to develop, coach and enable high performance teams and proactively promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work within highly matrix environments and cross functional and multicultural teams.
  • Helping to set and validate annual sales budgets and long term plan for assigned products.
  • Training and guiding the sales force with skills and innovative promotion for achieving commercial objectives.
  • Developing and rolling-out promotional materials before commencement of the promotional cycle.
  • Interaction with internal and external customers; KOLs, advertising agencies, Health ministry officials, AGI, Group, local agents in different countries.
  • Organizing and attending international congresses/CMEs/Stand Alone meetings both regionally and locally.
  • Supporting validation of “In-licensing” search and profiling opportunities.
  • Assessing therapeutic trends in various markets.
  • Planning and implementing capability and or action to drive product and performance.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree - Bachelor's Degree in any medical related field
Master’s Degree - MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in brand management.
Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing
MENA experience is a plus 
  1. Specialty care experience in Thrombosis therapeutic area in multinational pharmaceutical company is preferred
  2. Specialty care experience in an Anaesthesia Portfolio is a must. Hospital Line experience is preferred. 
 TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
 Sales & Marketing know-how essential - Good Knowledge
Experience in setting up promotional arrangements and managing same with distributors - Good Experience
Proven track record of sales and marketing performance - Good Record
Fluency in Arabic & English essential (verbal & written), French is a plus - Expert
