Job Purpose
The Regional Marketing Manager will be the “eyes and ears" of the company. Responsible for building and installing base market position by locating, developing, defining and where appropriate negotiating, and closing business relationships. Develop and execute plans on a regional basis which result in a pipeline of profitable business in the short, medium and long term which is consistent with the 5 year Lucy Electric plan in relation to Products, Services and Markets.

Key Accountabilities
Business Development
Formulate and follow dedicated and focused Business Plans for new Markets/Market segments and develop and execute these in line with the 5 year strategic plan.
Responsible for the success for the performance and development of new and potential customers.
Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects and follow up the same with the RSM
Propose and establish new partnering, licensing and joint venture agreements for Lucy products and Services.
Conduct reviews within Lucy Electric to build effective communication; understand training, product knowledge and development needs.
Provide insight for the development of Lucy Electric sales and activity performance via sales intelligence for new markets and/or to acquire new customers.
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performances of business development and marketing activities/status with business feasibility, overview, and projection.
Provides support to all function when requested by management.
Marketing
Support nominated countries in developing and deploying marketing strategies to achieve sales and marketing plans identified through research projects.
Actively contribute as the African point of contact to the development plans for new products and solutions with the global Marketing Team.
Build the regional / country marcom plans in line with the Lucy Electric strategy and objectives; ensure that Lucy Electric Products are effectively supported within agreed budget.
Support global activities within Marketing Team.
Ensure along with the Marketing team that the Lucy Electric Global Marketing guide lines are implemented.
Assist in the development and implementation of Lucy Electric solutions business; develop marketing plans to drive business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all pricings, competitor profiles, and activity reports of new customer

Dimensions
The role will be based at Lucy Electric offices in Dubai UAE. Visits to Lucy offices and customers in Middle East & North Africa and overseas locations will be required.

Secondary Activities / Tasks
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed by your line manager and Director.

Experience Knowledge & Skills

Broad experience of developing and implementing short to mid-range objectives and strategies to achieve business goals.
Extensive experience in electrical services business development and marketing gained within Switchgear or Electrical distribution
Extensive experience of distribution products, systems and solutions to utilities and large industrial end users.

Other requirements
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university, Master Degree, or equivalent.
High level of English (spoken and written).
Arabic and French speaking
