Regional Sales Manager

ROLE PURPOSE:
Regional Sales Manager will report to Commercial Manager-MENA, he/she will be responsible for management of Aspen business in North Africa and will be accountable for achieving sustainable business growth & drive performance excellence through establishing the commercial strategy, leading sales force teams, managing communication with business partners &Acting as the representative for Aspen business in North Africa.
Position can be based in : Algeria; Tunisia or Morocco.
SPECIFIC OUTCOMES/ACCOUNTABILITY:
  • Establish operational & strategic plans in order to achieve targeted revenues and market KPIs.
  • Analyse the environment & business performance, identify gaps and propose solutions to drive business growth.
  • Management of Aspen sales force teams including hiring, On boarding, performance management in addition to employees development, retention & motivation.
  • Ensure Aspen is utilizing best practices across the key areas of sales & marketing management including: Customer profiling, segmentation, targeting & ensure proper resources allocation.
  • Managing daily communication with business partners including local manufacturing sites, distributors and promotional partners to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with business partners & sales force teams to improve forecast accuracy and to optimize stock levels in the market through proper demand planning.
  • Monitor business partners’ performance in terms of promotion, sales &supply and ensure their alignment with Aspen strategy.
  • Work closely with regional marketing team to ensure flawless execution of brand strategic/tactical plans & drive the relevant promotion strategy with sales force team and promotional partners
  • Develop the right performance metrics/dashboard to be communicated to the relevant stakeholders in timely manner
  • Work closely with NBD team to establish and implement NBD projects.
  • Reporting: timely submission of market reports including calls& coaching reports, promotional activities, competitors & market feedback.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree - Pharmacy or any relevant field
EXPERIENCE:
Three years
  •  A minimum of 8 years of sales/commercial experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  •  At least 3 years’ experience in Management position leading sales force team.
  •  Proven track record and experience in mid-management roles.
  •  Strong leadership capabilities.Languages: Fluent in English and French.
