Mediclinic Middle East is currently looking to fill a Senior Biomedical Technician position to be based in Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital is a JCIA accredited, modern facility established in 2008 with a total licensed capacity of 134 beds. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency department.
The Senior Biomedical Technician will provide comprehensive technical support to the business unit and deliver preventive maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
Requirements
Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering or its related field
At least three (3) to five (5) post-graduation experience
Healthcare experience will be a distinct advantage
UAE Driver's license preferable
Demonstrate commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Demonstrate competence in working autonomously as required
Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Computer Science experience will be advantage
Fluency in written and spoken English
Key Outputs
Provide 1st level support for medical equipment's
Analyze and diagnose equipment failures, troubleshot and restore equipment
Co-ordinate and follow up with Vendors for hardware requirements
Maintain job logs comprehensively as per policy and procedure
Problems and re-work / quality failures of the equipment are reported as per procedure
Areas and facilities are left clean and functional, and deviations are reported
Statutory and safety requirements are ensured
Electronic and manual filing systems are maintained ($%&!# register and PPM)
End-user training on equipment conducted when needed
Patient Rights are maintained
Professional ethics and Mediclinic Middle East values are upheld
