Accountant (supporting Hotel Finance & Purchasing Departments)

You will be responsible to assist the Financial Controller in the smooth running of the Accounts section as well as the Purchasing function. Your daily tasks will include, but not limited to:

1.  Compute, Record, Collect, Analyse and Verify numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records of the financial operations of the hotel. 
2. Assist in generating bills and collect all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
3. Support Materials department with ensuring transactions related to the purchasing function including managing vendor relations, enforcing compliance to procedures etc.
 

Qualifications

 
You will have previous exposure to a similar role in a city based 3 or 4 star hotel.
Candidates with previous exposure to software tools like Scala, Birchstreet would be preferred.
You have excellent references from your previous employers and a track record for learning and developing yourself
