Transport, Trade and Logistics Specialist - Regional Distribution Center, UAE
As a Transport, Trade and Logistics Specialist,you will be a part of the electrification products division and will be based in UAE. The electrification products division manufactures low-voltage circuit breakers, switches, and control products, wiring accessories, enclosures and cable systems to protect people, installations and electronic equipment from electrical overload. The division further makes KNX systems that integrate and automate a building's electrical installations, ventilation systems, and security and data communication networks.
Tasks:
Your main tasks will be the following-
? Responsible for all tactical and transactional purchasing activities including related master data maintenance. Communication with GPG / FF and sales to ensure inventory is compliant with BU guidelines provided.
? Responsible for the creation and maintenance of material, planning and suppliers master data in local ERP system.
? Ensure the proper phase in and phase out of new products introductions as local executer of the GPG/FF instructions
? Achieve KPIs set by management
? Manage the stock profile and basket proposal. Coordinate with LSO expected changes in demand, trends, seasonality, etc
? Trigger the stock replenishment from FF by executing the MRP in APO
? Purchase order placement to FF and coordination and ensure the update of FF delivery dates into system
? Maintain material, info record, planning and supplier master data in RDC ERP and APO
? Maintain FF and stock service related KPIs, measure FF on time delivery (supply reliability)
?Manage the reverse logistics in coordination with Customer Service Manager and the FF. Ensure the disposition, returns and/or scrap, of returns materials
? Undertake data collations for calibrations of inventory baskets
? Key User of APO, MM and PP module in SAP
? Control the quality of the 3PL inventory data and validate any correction made from their side, including the inbound.
Requirements:
Ideally you will have a bachelor's degree /diploma in any stream of education with at least 5-6 years related industry experience in material planning and inventory control with good knowledge in supply chain management and inventory control erience in SAP system with experience in interpretation of data processing output will be preferred.
