- Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers
- Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is
planned in advance.
- Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents coming to the company
- Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position.
- Coordinate and follow and follow up x-selling activities within the department.
- Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
- Assist in new business relationships with all supply chain partners and customers.
- Business development and building rapport with potential clients via email or phone
- Planning and oversee new/existing marketing initiatives.
- Working with internal stakeholders to collate relevant information from start till completion.
- Coordinate tender requirements; develop quotes; write commercial proposals; develop contracts and transiting contract requirements into business operations.
- Collaborate with Accounts Management, Quality, Operations, Product Solutions and Supply Chain partners to effectively and rapidly resolve problems.
- Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
- At least 2 years of experience in related business development/sales/marketing capacity in Supply Chain
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and some other PC applications
- Confidence in undertaking presentations to vast number of people
- Analytic skills to review both financial and operational data.
- Proven Negotiation Skills complied with the ability to close business wins
- Customer oriented & team player
- Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions
- Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment

- Minimum Diploma in Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent- At least 2 years of experience in related business development/sales/marketing capacity in Supply Chain
