Product Manager - Acquiring

The product manager will have end to end business responsibility for growing the merchant acquiring business, with special emphasis on the E-commerce & digital solutions space. The individual is expected to have an in-depth understanding of acquiring finanicials, budgeting, P&L; and schemes costs.

Key Result Areas

Define the product strategy and roadmap, and recommend changes to the Product Program to keep pace with market requirement in the E-commerce
Identify & adopt market best practices from other regions to bring efficiencies in product delivery & supporting processes, thus improving overall merchant experience
Manage & implement New technologies/solutions as a strategic product extension, with the aim of expanding merchant networks and business volumes
Work with business teams to evaluate unique merchant partner requirement and implement bespoke solutions including white-label loyalty program, proprietary card program & other service
Own & drive the e-commerce acquiring portfolio with intent of being a dominant player in the market
Identify & implement alternate card acceptance channels including m-commerce & m-wallet, with the aim of growing volumes from such channels
To define, own & manage a portfolio monitoring process from business as well as risk perspective
To have financial reporting processes in place to manage rental revenue streams, including receivables from merchants & track fee collection from association as defined in the contract
To monitor revenue & expense lines, including MSF and Interchange payout analysis; as well as other operating expenses, and highlight discrepancy & liaising with supporting units to ensure resolution
To own, manage & enhance all back-end processes necessary for the smooth functioning of the business unit
To work closely with FRMU & Chargeback Unit to track & monitor fraud & CB related losses for the business unit
