Job Description
Production Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for organizing, coordinating, managing and evaluting all aspects of fabrication, including safety, cost effectiveness and quality. He will liaise with internal and external key contacts and ensure the projects are delivered on time to a hight safety and quality standart.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promote a health and safety culture.
- Promote a quality culture.
- Resonsibile for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job schedulling and labor allocation for day to day operations.
- Determine priorities of projects to be completed and the material requires, schedules time, equipment and manpower accordingly.
- Assist the proposal/sales during bidding phases.
- Insures compliances to all Company policies and procedures, as well as adherence with safety and quality standarts in conjuction qith Exterran HSE and Quality departments.
- Work with engineering and quality to eliminate root causes to problem in the manufacturing process. Also partnering with engineering to design efficeincies and economies of scale in the fabrication process.
- Coordinates with Project Management to interface the clients.
- Provide oversight and check job estimates.
- Implements and develops training and productivity improvements.
- Responsibile for adherence to annual and project budgets.
- Work closely with Department Managers to achive organizational and professional goals.
- Actively search for improvements in the manufacturing process, which result in reduced expenses, improved cycle time and higher safety and quality level.
- A clear and demostarted accountability for cost and schedule.
- Passionated and experienced with data driven process improvement.
- Clear thinking and a demostrated ability to grow & nurture a culture of safety/quality/compliance.
Requeired skills or tools
- Experience in leading team and ability to work with people at various levels.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas field.
- Solid organizational and planning skills
- Accounting knowledge preferred
Requeired Education Expereince
- Univesity Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10 years related experience same position in Oil and Gas sector.
